| There are many parts to
the wedding ceremony that we have to discuss with
you in the production meeting before you get married,
for example: camera positions, lighting, sound,
details on how the ceremony will unfold and any
restrictions on what we can film.
Within the final production we edit the ceremony
footage down to just include the lawful marriage
sections. But what does this mean?
Civil Ceremonies
Due to the nature of a civil ceremony, we do not
edit any of the footage out from this type of
wedding. The main reason for this is that usually
civil weddings will last between 15-20 minutes,
which is an ideal length on the video to show
friends and family. |

Church Ceremonies
Church ceremonies can last anything from 40 minutes
up to 3 hours long, so our emphasis within the video
production is on the lawful marriage section, which
lasts about 15-20 minutes. This does mean that we
cut out hymns and other parts of the ceremony that
would be very time consuming in the edited video.
Conversations with our clients have told us that
their friends and family don’t want to have
to sit through the whole wedding ceremony again
on the video. Yet the bride and groom would really
like to be able to watch the whole ceremony through,
just for their records! |

We do recognise how important having
the wedding ceremony as a whole is to you. A church
wedding is a major part of the day and of your life,
with many moments meaning so much to friends and
family. So we make a one off ceremony tape. This
is a tape that has the whole wedding ceremony from
the bride walking in all the way through to the
newly weds walking out. |
