How
discreet is your filming
We are always hidden in the background of your wedding
day. Our aim is to capture the day as naturally as possible,
so this often means standing back from the action and
using the zoom on the camera. We don’t ask anything
of you apart from that you enjoy yourselves.
Do you film while we are eating
One to Keep does not record whilst you and your guests
are eating, see here
Can I have my own choice of music
Yes, we always ask you to choose your own music as its
your video/DVD and it makes it more personal. If you
want to run it past us first before you make up your
mind, feel free.
Music Copyright
Because of our high standards of production we like
to use commercial music within our video productions
instead of copyright free music, which often sounds
very stale and isn’t personal to you. For more
on copyright follow this link
Video Length
One of the reasons One to Keep first started
was to move wedding videos on. We do not make 2-3 hour
long epic wedding videos. We think your wedding video
should be entertaining and we believe that an hour long
programme is just enough. Sometimes it will be shorter
or longer depending on the size of your wedding.
Do you provide the raw footage
Yes, but only selected sections on DVD format and at
an extra cost.
How far in advance should I book
Book your wedding videographer at least a year in advance,
especially if your wedding is on a weekend to avoid
any disappointment.

Do you use lights
We very rarely use lights. We have found that with our
modern cameras we can get enough surrounding light for
the first dance with out using extra lights. Lights
also have a bad effect on what we’re trying to
film. Often you will see a light on top of a camera
being switch on and all your guests will move away from
the blinding light, thus giving no good shots of your
guests. We would consider using lights in during the
day if we really thought that we needed them, that’s
why we have a meeting with you before your wedding to
look around all the venues you’ll be using.
How soon after the wedding will I receive the
video
We normally deliver the video within 1 month of your
Wedding day. Sometimes during the summer months we can
be put back to 6 weeks, but our aim for every wedding
is 3 weeks. All just depends on how big your wedding
is – 2 camera weddings obviously take longer than
1 camera and we can only start editing if we have everything
– your music choices / cds included.
Can I be involved in the editing process
The editing of a wedding video takes many hours therefore
it is not practical, the final edit must be entrusted
to One to Keep. However if there is something particular
that you want included in your video you must let us
know before the day of your wedding so that we can organize
it. We can film and make anything you want us to as
long as your prepared to pay the extra for the service.

Do
you use freelancers
No. We believe that freelancers can not film weddings.
Its an art form and you need to be able to read into how
the footage is to be edited too. All camera operators
at One to Keep are editors also and will be with your
project from start to finish. Every camera operator at
one to keep has to undergo our own extensive training.
Weddings are live filming you cant ask for you do it again
for the camera, it knowing your equipment as well as knowing
what your filming, which only comes with practice.
How can I find out more information on what it
will cost
You can fill out the online form or phone us direct and
we’ll take some details off you and send out our
price list. We do this so we know who’s looking
at our services, obviously most weddings are on a Saturday,
so the summer months get booked up in advance. By asking
you to contact us we can confirm if we are available to
film. How can we see your work
We do not post out demo tapes or DVD's because of our
clients privacy. What we can do is either arrange a representative
to visit you at your home or make an appointment for you
to come over to RBX studios. We are happy to arrange these
viewings with no any obligation at all.
Will you want feeding
We often get asked this and our answer is, that its up
to you. We usually take sandwiches to have while you eat
so please don’t feel like you have to feed us.
If you have any other questions
