| Some of our clients have wanted this
option to show more of the preparation of the bridal
party before the ceremony. Usually we take this
footage and either make a separate montage to a
piece of music or weave it into the arrival montage.
However it does have its problems.

For 2 camera weddings this option
works well, because of having 1 camera with the
bride and the other capturing the guests and groom
arriving.
With 1 camera you’re making the decision to
reduce the filming of the guests and groom arriving
to include some of the bride getting ready. At worst
this could mean that you’ll have no footage
of the guests arriving at all. |

The main reason why ‘Getting
ready’ it is not included as standard, is
that it spoils the surprise of the bridal party
arriving at the church. By seeing the bride for
the first time in the video arriving at the church
you are almost given the same feeling as what the
groom will experience when seeing his bride for
the first time. Another reason is just logistical,
due to time constraints between bridal party and
church and capturing as much footage as possible.
The day has to run smoothly, by adding extra travelling
and filming into the day at this point, starts to
strain what anybody can film. |
