Two (2) cameras
With two camera shooting we are able to get different
angles on the events that are occurring live in
front of camera. This is beneficial in the marriage
ceremony, speeches and first dance especially,
allowing us to get different types of shots from
these important parts on the day. The other bonus
about two cameras is that you are capturing a
lot more footage than you would get from just
one camera. This in turn means that we have a
lot more footage to choose the best bits from
for the edit.
Two Cameras can of course have its problems. If
you are having a small wedding party (less than
75 guests), or the locations are small, two cameras
can start to overpower the situation. We try to
stand back as far back as we can but nothing is
going to stop you noticing two camera operators
in a very small venue. Not to mention you will
probably have formal & casual photographers
buzzing around.

One (1) Camera
With one camera you are limited in the fact that
this will be the only angle on everything at the
wedding, but to be perfectly honest it still works.
One camera operator can be very discrete following
you and your guests’ movements through out
the day. One Camera weddings are probably ideal
for up to 150 guests and then you would need to
seriously think about 2 cameras. The other bonus
of the 1 camera package apart from discretion
is the price, as it comes in considerably cheaper
than 2 cameras.
Overall the perfect wedding video
from a technical viewpoint would be 2 cameras,
so that you can get those different angles and
cover a lot more of the events that happen on
the day.
However depending on your budget and wedding size
are two cameras needed? The only way to know is
by watching a 1 camera production and getting
some advice from us directly. You can talk through
your event and the location sizes and we can give
you our honest opinion on what would work best
for you.
